THE SHAMS HOTEL

The Shams is a hotel in Dubai that is being constructed.

I collaborated with an interior designer and used her concept when constructing the logo. The type is stacked to mimic the tall buildings you can find in the environment. The five rings represent the sun and the five leaves above the type represent the five times a day that the Muslim culture prays to Mecca.
